@alanboyle I watched the launch tonight and I am continually impressed with SpaceX’s flight test program, deliberately pushing the envelope by programming off-spec actions to test what the ship can and cannot survive. This is a costly way of doing business, but they are learning much more about their systems (and advancing their design) than if they only tried to launch perfect vehicles.

Let's face it: Social media is a voluntary, emotional and logical roller coaster. It's okay to step off the ride every once in a while. Some days, you are not tall enough for the ride anyhow.
It's easy to slip unconsciously into the idea that your people, your community needs you, needs your feet ready to go at the hamster wheel at a moment's notice. That's also how you know it's time to let someone else drive the wheel for a while.

It’s naive to believe Cook can ever satisfy Trump for more than a day. It will never be enough. It never is, for anyone.
There is no lasting peace between Trump and anyone. Once you placate him, the only way to stay in his good grace is to continually ramp it up. You're always one arbitrary bad mood away from him turning on you and ripping your head off, no matter what you've done for him in the past.
It's unwinnable. Tim Cook sold Apple's soul for ten minutes of peace.
