I'm the author of 17 books, some co-authored with my wife, Jennifer - also known as The Inquiring Quilter, one of the nation's most prolific #quilt designers.
Three or four people may still remember me as "DFSCOTT," one of the early sys-ops on the old Delphi network, and the moderator of the Computer Shopper Information Exchange (C*SIX) during the late (in more ways than one) 1980s.

I'm a little late with my #introduction post. I'm currently a Senior Cloud Security Architect who loves building. I'm currently working with a customer somewhere in the Fortune 20 list. I really love #devops #devsecops #cloud and #iac. My IaC of choice is #terraform.
I really enjoy being able to build something complex and be able to deploy it with code. My cloud platforms of choice are #aws and #azure. I'm going to try and post up projects I'm working on here in the future.

She invented Dynamic Instruction Scheduling at IBM, but IBM fired her when they learned she was transitioning.

My first completed artwork of 2023 is a Kingfisher. Kingfishers are said to symbolize freedom, courage, adventure, and abundance - all things that I wish for all of us in the new year.
I don't normally add backgrounds to my animal paintings so this is a bit of an experiment for me (courage!) and I'm not sure I love it but here we are :)
