@sciencebase Ours had the extra name of 'Wiggins'. I think it meant there wasn't a bath of water for it to sit in and seal it.
@sciencebase I understand you can measure how much total gas has gone through it from displacements. Maybe that was it.
@sciencebase There was one opposite my office, for BOF gas (CO) collection. It was always called the 'gas holder' though. Up and down like a whores's drawers it was.

When it comes to #climatechange, governments around the world are currently on quite a schizophrenic course - they claim leadership in #climateaction while maintaining #fossilfuel dependency.
The truth is ... this is physically incompatible.
Clean fossil fuel is a hoax.
