Sunday 30 April was the 30th anniversary of the release of the Web into the public domain, for general use, and at no cost. Coralie Mercier noted that this quiet gesture, was advocated by Web inventor Sir Tim Berners-Lee and has changed our lives.

We’re organizing an academic workshop at #SEMANTiCS2023 in Leipzig the 20th of September. At that workshop, we are bringing together researchers and practitioners who want to build #MobilityDataSpace, to ease data integration in e.g., ticketing solutions or route planners.

A recurring #LinkedData / #RDF question: In German, French and many other languages, names for roles, occupations etc. encode the genus/(grammatical) gender, e.g. "Autor"/"Autorin" for "author". Lots of controlled vocabularies contain such roles. Is there a best practice to mark different labels (m, f, gender-neutral) in RDF, especially #SKOS?
