@liztai For me, I first decide what the report will look like, it's got to have little drawings in the margins about hopes and dreams, a new curse for my nemesis, and a pat on the back about spending. Crossed out to-do items that actually got done get featured space. Paper report goes reverse-chron in 3-ring binder for tsk-tsking or teeheeing. Source for the report is gnucash, mikesandroidworkshop todo task manager, taskwarrior, and colored pencils.

Read some wisdom on how crazy long and hot them climate induced northern wildfires burn. So I biked to the Costco temple. And I began my long search. Later that week, temple guards checked my receipt and put upon it the black badge of righteous profit. Four 2200 [merv13] furnance filters($25) grown in the Land of Kirk were strapped to my back as I rolled back through the Gates of Hell. Dodging red light running malcontents, rolling by forgotten forts, I arrived, gasping and woozy, to my bullet ridden bunker. I looked up and told my spider friend that soon we would have clean air, and she winked at me with one of her smaller eyes used for knitting. You know the rest. It's best to leave out the bits of cursing, recutting and tape sticking to tape. But in the end an airfiltering machine was made. Now, my blood is cleared of burnt forest and I can remember my Mandarin lesson of the day.

Tooters! I went to my city safety meeting cuz people are criming. Fifty nice people sat most quietly in the audience. All I could think of was the opportunity cost of their time. Imagine if fifty people actually did something for two hours like make sure all the Kia and Hondai neighbors got dealer appts to fix their ignition, or get city provided free steering clubs. Or fifty people coded a peer to peer database app to track completion of toilet repairs in the schools. I would be at every long safety meeting. Would u go to such a meeting? Like barnraising, except it's technology raising. We could do that right? Get something done? Foaming at the mouth like a just caught Chesapeake bluecrab is great but I think it's time we changed the format.

We taking in another Canadian smoke day today, yep. If you're out on deck consider that colorful smoke air quality index at 2.5m is the top end where particles start getting into your bloodstream, and science sez even low levels of smoke, like candle smoke, mess with cogitation. Mask up Buckaroos, or be prepared to be outwitted by the housecat.

Wondering if USA food shoppers are going to spark a industry shift in the grocer market. Wholesale prices on milk and eggs are way down now without a corresponding retail price drop. Foodshoppers have reacted and changed buying habits to survive. British grocers have awoken from their profitcoma and have started price drops. Over here, snoring retailers will awake to the large swath of the midwest just starting an unusual crop-damaging drought. So could retail outlets get pounded in early fall between the anvil of changed consumer habits and the hammer of a real wholesale price increase due to drought? Might be time to top off your 5gal pantry of legumes and beans and check youtube on diy tofu. Never too late to get some nightshade container plants going. Are you seed saving? Are you seed swapping?

My local used car market makes about as much sense as the housing market in early 2008. Hey are you investment bank bro's securitizing subprime car loans or something? Because something is not right. Sure, it's all gonna work out September 1 after new inventory splurges onto the new car lots.

Just gonna scrounge mulberries, tree nuts and dandelions, and bike my way through the unrelenting price madness of the megalopolis until the first frost. Are we still doing that? First frost?

@AliceMarshall The hell you are, Young Lady! I know I just broke a ton of rules right there. Happy Bday!

@AmandaWeaver Ouch! Functional feet are essential. Not saying this is your concern, but bunched up Quadratus Plantae [QP] may refer pain to heel. Befriend a kid with a 25cent sized hard rubber ball for the QP. Since stretching helps, u may also massage calf muscle. Hope it chills out soon.

Some operations didn't hear about Avian flu destruction. 35cents an egg is lowest price in local groceries, except my Latinx grocer, where it's 11cents an egg. How are these chain stores still charging 3x plus? Wholesale prices expected to be 8cents. There's no limit on a chain store markup. What are you paying?

Doublecheck your retail charges.Three different retail stores overcharging me because of wrong prices in register. Price tags missing on inventory even after flagging it to mgt. Hnaught: Retail stores use modern inventory control which updates retail price catalog as inflated prices collapse and inventory bloats.

Trying to science out our gray market cannabis gifting market here where one pays 80bucks for the gift of a disposible vape pen that puts aerosolized cpd oil into your lungs. When mother Gaia finds out what her kids are doing the moon and Mars are not gonna be far enough away.

Internal combustion engine is reborn, and ready to fly again with the speeding diesel beasts of our supply chain. Take me to the H2 and electric age, little car. Maybe your conversion will not cost as much as a luxury sedan in a few years.

USA appears healthier lately, but it's not showing up in prices or efficiency. Stores got more eggs to stack in the bin. Retailers show more inventory. Packages move through DHL, UPS and merge with USPS in a straighter line, but unexplained delays still suck the life out plan fruition. Not helping me is the corporate takeover of Pet Vet clinics/hospitals. Not lowering my costs is of the . Robbing me of repair parts is the chain-making of individual mom&pop automobile salvage yards. Local value is trapped, up-sold to me or carted away to be sold in a pricier market. How are you doing out there?

Until we sort out our relationship with our bloodstream viruses, may I suggest Costco Kirkland 2200 furnace filters: $30 for four, for your DIY home or school room filter. They rectangles, not squares but they are valid MERV13, which is usually quite expensive. I heart clean air.

BBCNews, NYTimes, DWNews. AlJazeera might want to get on the Fediverse. It's astonishing that they haven't even started a breaking news - headline on the refinery, military complex attacks. Birdsite is lame now. Very excited for new Mastodon DevOps. When are the major news platforms going to realize the changeover?

@jonlevy the message is the medium. just spent 20min trying to find, read, listen to the nine counterpoints. the msnbc story is not linked. i easily saw the birdsite outrage lather and sighed. I am monitoring wastewater numbers until I find a better marker, dropping old resources of cases, deaths, hospitalizations. masking numbers I can see just walking in public. money is still tight, so not letting even a few coins slip for a paywall. and my time and maintenance costs continue to creep up because basic 20th century tasks are confoundingly hard, still. I suspect I am not alone. thanks for your efforts.

@CharityFeb Snow Roof Rake 80bucks extends 21feet. Cover up, extend rake pole, lift up to roof, stumble confidently, plop rake on snow, pull towards you, dodge falling snow. Removes potential melt and refreeze, aka an ice dam from our future. More is better but just get the snow off roof edge. I'm the dam raker. Works for us.

I'm noticing that breaking toots are appearing before tweets. And, story ledes on the birdsite are now showing up a whole day later wet from outrage lather. I think we have nominal separation. What do u think?
