@grouchox if you use the bike system you will need to find helmets and a kid seat on your own. here are the most used french instances in the fediverse if you wanna reach french / parisian people : mamot.fr ; pialle.fr
You can also try to use the tags #teamvelo #teamvelotaf (bike team, bike to workplace team) to reach out people.
@grouchox It depends on the age of your older child, and how used you are to run into a dense car traffic, but we have a pick / drop bike system (velib') which is ok with stations everywhere. Or simply have a one week pass for our public transport system (see RATP) if you plan to make more than 3 travels a day. It will include bus / tram / metro / local train (RER). You will likely ave to use RER if you land at CDG airport.

Seeing folks suggest it's legitimate for YouTube to ban ad-blockers because the site needs to be paid for somehow.
Here's my view... if the cost of YouTube is watching some ads, then fair enough. I can mute them after all, just as I do on my TV.
However, that's NOT the issue. The issue is less "having to watch ads" and more about the tracking and profiling technology embedded in those ads. I do NOT consent to that (and under EU law, I don't have to).

For @mitch_deadberg - we wanted to show you how we make South Indian Filter Coffee! This coffee (a 80:20 mixture of coffee / chicory) is made with a metal filter. This filter makes enough for about 2 times but you can find them in bigger sizes. You put about 2-4 tbsp of coffee depending on how strong you want it. You place the metal plunger on top, pour the water and then let the decoction brew. It usually takes about a half hour.
