“In #Finland, the number of homeless people has fallen sharply. Those affected receive a small apartment and counselling with no preconditions. 4 out of 5 people affected make their way back into a stable life. And all this is CHEAPER than accepting homelessness.”
Make sure everyone understands this — It’s costing us far too much to NOT provide housing and supports to those who are homeless.

I'm planning my Best Discoveries of 2022 radio show, and oh my god, is it hard. Even if I expand it from an hour to an hour and a half, it's still hard choosing the songs. The problem's not the top of the list. Those are easy. I've probably got the top 15 set. The problem is figuring out songs 16-25. There are probably 30 candidates for those final 10 slots. Hella hard. (and only difficult if you're a giant music nerd who cares about unimportant shit like this, which I most definitely am)
