If anybody is wondering if it is morally acceptable to play Scott Adams adventure games following the recent bout of newspapers dropping Dilbert cartoons.

Yes. Yes it is perfectly ok.

The Scott Adams that's famous for writing Adventure and many other classic computer games is not the racist intolerant arsehole that wrote Dilbert. They're two very different people.

Last night's aurora was right up there in the top three I've ever seen. Brilliant green and red with beautiful rays dancing visible to the naked eye. Lots of neighbours came out to the back field to admire the colour :)

After discussing comics' affordances in class this week, I had my intro making students make short comics playing with space/time in some unusual way that can only be done in comics. This student eerily hit upon vacuuming up panels of which I'm aware of these famous examples from Bill Bragg & Bushmiller. Others come to mind?

There are many tales in #JapaneseFolklore of frog brides. In these stories, magical frogs take on human form with the goal of marrying a human man. They look just like regular women, only they tend to be quite frail & often don't have the strength to do many normal tasks. If undiscovered, their marriages can be very long & happy, but if the husband witnesses his wife transforming into or from a frog, it will all end tragically.
