I now have 1k followers on Mastodon. Still nearly 15k on the other site, but many of those I engage with most are here.

And without a selection rule (seriously, it's not an algorithm!) reinforcing my choices of what to look at, i have a much more diverse feed here. Cost is a bit of randomness, but not too much.

I am an applied microeconomist with broad research interests in #HealthEconomics and the economics of #HumanCapital (labour and education) based at #UAM, Madrid. Previously I was A/Prof. at Lancaster, UK, and a post-doc at the Centre for Health Economics at York, UK. I hold a personal fellowship focused on the #IntergenerationalTransmission of #RiskyBehaviours.

I am here mainly to interact with fellow quantitative researchers and hopefully to learn something new!
