@TechConnectify I have never used it. Even the cruise control seems aggressive to me, but at least the latter I can still feel in control. In general, this trend of thinking every process must be “agile”, without respecting standards leads to things like this, or the Titanic submarine implosion. Things that are preventable, but pressure to market seem to be more important than safety.

@nerd4cities I'm eagerly awaiting for your video about Montreal! :D
@se38 In my social circle, people haven´t even started working with #Eclipse. Let alone #VSCode. As much as I hate web-based #IDEs, they look like a good compromise between modernising the development toolkit and providing enough flexibility to provide #SAP with a platform to move everything to their cloud, which is ultimately what they want.
Ideally, I would love an #open #development toolkit that I could use on my own machine to select between #CLI, web or GUI-based tools, backed by a local #ABAP runtime that I can use at least to run mocked unit tests, but that´s a pipe-dream.
@se38 awesome! I don't have ams2 but will try it later this year

@shawngoldwater I like the minimalism of the tablet, but yes, sometimes the accessibility of the buttons is missed.
@richheilman I use abap2xlsx and ABAP-Logger. Also, mockA when I'm not working in an older system
Interesting reading. I wonder if there's something similar in concept for #abap #software

@ceedee666 I still struggle with the BO concept for drafting and such. The help has improved a lot lately, but it's not very easy to find.
Software developer for enterprise solutions. I'm learning functional programming with Haskell and interested in gamedev, but curious about philosophy, economics and science in general
