Buried in the footnotes of Jeremy Hunt's Autumn Statement is a massive tax cut on bank profits. Surcharge cut from 8% to just 3%.

Jeremy Hunt's plan is deeply dishonest. On the one hand he says he will close the 'black hole' in government finances, 55% through spending cuts after the general election, but without spelling out a *single specific cut* he actually plans to make.
