@astro_jcm After knee surgery I was advised to do something to keep busy. This would have been perfect! (I built Lego Singapore)

We'll have a better idea later tomorrow but we're starting to see concerning signals of a widespread damaging wind event Friday. Prepare for power outages including some that last into the weekend. We'll have more at 11 and updates all week!

@tao Precisely why we moved to PBL where writing is used to describe/document/justify students' own process for solving a problem, using the specific tools we provide. The document is different for each student of each team. More work for us, but it's hard to fake.
Excellent reporting from Eileen Guo (https://www.eileenguo.com) in the MIT Tech Review: "A Roomba recorded a woman on the toilet. How did screenshots end up on Facebook?" untangling the well-named "global supply chain for data"
Recovering from hacked email. Can't believe I fell for that official looking "ATT upgrade" email (just like an old person, right?). 1st, the odd sending address (the one time I didn't check), 2nd what corporation says "kindly" click here? I blame cookie overdoes. But on the + side, I've heard from so many distant relatives today helpfully reporting my hacked email.
@dankennedy_nu Birdchan. Can I steal that? :)
@DemFromCT Elon's polls remind me of my parents. They'd let us kids vote, which seems like a good thing because there were 6 of us, right? But their votes each counted 4, and they always agreed with each other. The fix is always in.
@drskyskull Hi there. 8:04
