Learning business in a classroom is like reading an anthropological work written by martians. They don't get it, because they can't get it, because they are definitionally excluded from the quintessence of the subject.

Of course, they might have interesting or even useful things to say, just like an immigrant might have a unique insight into the local culture. But to take any such insight as more than supplemental is dangerous at worst and foolish at best.

Some people stand on the shoulders of giants. The rest of us have giants standing on our shoulders.
