Can't really bring myself to log into Twitter.

One thing that's getting a little lost in this mix, is that some of the people desperately holding on at Twitter are because they are trapped by either healthcare or visas.

Going forward, all tweets advocating two spaces after a period will result in temporarily losing verified account privileges.

p.s. By the way, a lot of the servers on joinmastodon.org/servers say "get on waitlist" but this phrasing is misleading.

A lot of these servers don't have a waitlist at all and will accept you pretty quickly, within a few hours in some cases. It's just the server admin is screening out spammers by switching on the "why do you want to join?" form, because spambots find this form harder to cope with.

Student free speech question if you are so inclined.Dress code prohibits obscenities. Student has a shirt that expresses approbation of a certain political figure, but no swears. Same piece of clothing has the acronym "FPF" where the initials clearly refer to the political figure. Tinker, Morse, and Mahanoy seem to say it can be prohibited. Care to offer an opinion?
