It's #AGU22 Eve. 10,000+ people are looking at the conference schedule for the week, trying to fit in presentations, posters, keynotes, and exhibitor booths they want to learn more about. It's the eternal AGU question: "how can I possibly go to all the things?"

In this #RoadToAGU22 Bryn Stewart offers some support: you're only one person, you can't go to all the things. Letting that anxiety go means you may find it easier to enjoy the sessions you do attend.

I’m recruiting MSc/PhD students to join my lab at #ClemsonUniversity in Fall ‘23! If you’re interested in #paleotempestology (#prehistoric #hurricanes), the hydro side of #paleoclimate, and/or records of #coastal or #hydrological #hazards, get in touch! We use multiple proxies, primarily #sediment & #treerings, to reconstruct #extreme events in the past. There are plenty of opportunities for #fieldwork & #labwork. If you’re going to #AGU22 & want to chat about this, let me know & we’ll meet up!

My PhD research is developing a low-cost open-source water clarity sensor and obtaining better spatial and temporal representation of catchment suspended particulate matter dynamics.

Made it to Chicago #AGU22. My last in person AGU was in 2018. Looking forward to it!

Excited to speak Monday morning at #AGU22 about findings from our airborne #VOC #Flux measurements over #LosAngeles and how they match (or don't) with inventories. See you in session A12C! #AirQuality @atmochem

Thinking about northern Arizona forests today. Some good work gets done out there taking advantage of snow coming in tonight.

Got some dirty big data sets? We're working to find ways to clean them efficiently, reliable, and without bias.

Hear about the successful early phases of these efforts in Tuesday morning's "Automated #MachineLearning Approach to Supervised Anomaly Detection from #CriticalZone #Watershed Sensor-Generated Time Series Data"

The #AGU22 scheduling tool lets you stack up sessions, so why not spend Saturday night overfilling your calendar. This Wednesday session, Quantifying Spatial and Temporal Variability of Snow and Snow Processes, brings together models, UAV, and #RemoteSensing data.

"Snow Effective Grain Size and Albedo Patterns Mapped From UAV Hyperspectral Imaging to Assess Landsat-9 OLI Pixel Variability: A Case Study" includes collaboration with #Dustˆ2 member McKenzie Skiles.
