Are you interested in #synapse remodeling after #stroke in #serotonin #mood regulation circuits? If you’re at #SfN22, come visit my poster “Time-dependent remodeling of the habenulo-raphe pathway in an animal model of post-stroke depression”. Looking forward to talking with you!

I think I’m due for an #introduction! I’m an MD/PhD student at #uOttawa, doing my PhD in #neuroscience with Jean-Claude Béïque and Richard Naud. My work explores how uncertainty in reward feedback is processed in #prefrontal cortex, mainly in the context of #autism.
To do this, I use #behavior tasks in mice along with simultaneous in vivo two-photon calcium imaging. I also model #learning and #DecisionMaking using #ReinforcementLearning #RL.
Some of my other interests include patch clamp #ephys, post #stroke #synapse remodeling, #serotonin, #psychedelics and #consciousness.
Follow if you want to join me in finding and sharing interesting papers and ideas!
#Introduction time! #NeuroscienceMigration
🎓 I'm a PhD candidate in #neuroscience at #uOttawa searching for a one-sentence explanation of what #serotonin does in the 🧠.
💻 I take a bottom-up #computational and systems neuroscience approach, creating new mathematical and software tools to link (electro)physiology and function.
Follow for papers and #python, maybe some #urbanism on the side.
MD/PhD candidate at uOttawa. Studying the effect of reward uncertainty on decision-making. Full-time student of 🧠 and ⚕️, part-time student of 🚴 and 🐈. Just here to find and share interesting research papers and ideas.
