It is 100% #proprietary, Google has full control over the data you added and people can only access Google Maps over proprietary channels where Google dictates the rules. This gives them too much power.

Außer bei PRO BAHN findet man den Landesnahverkehrsplan auch beim zuständigen Ministerium. For months I had noticed on a map this place in the middle of a forest marked "Memorial Stone".

So today I went to check it out.

But returned none the wiser. The large boulder, off any beaten track, carries only the mysterious inscription: "Bornellen Wiese 1833", which means "Bornellian Meadow 1833".

Search engines yield nothing.

The word 'Born' can mean a spring. There are moist meadows in the area - a glacier once ran through the area. But a date? For a meadow?

A mystery.
