greeting the Philippine Tagtuyot season! choosing western cowboy songs, recalling that one tagtuyo night adventure riding a 220cc motorcycle, there were 3 of us, each had his own bike, a friend let me use his other 220c bike, we started out from the main city at around 10 in the evening, it would be long motorcycle ride destination, tandag to make few stops along the way in butuan, san frans... that was my only time i had a long trip that started in the evening then meeting the sunrise after a few hours, while feeling the heat in midday, then much much later in the night, going down toward those coastal towns of surigao sur before finally arriving in tandag, there at that beautiful beach lit by the moonlight, as if a summer moonlight so nice!

there was even a teasing joke to encourage making counterflows, "don't be afraid to die, no girls would miss you since you are not handsome"... you know making counterflows on a motorcylce is fearsome at first but there is a tendency it'd be addictive even try more dangerous attempts to slip thru a very narrow margin of chance

surely it hurts especially in the face ball hitting even at slower speed of 60mph

practice my math (self refresher course in Lie groups with the associated topics in manifolds, topology) at the least writing an initial draft based on the way i understand the basic concepts, notions and ideas upon my own brand of idiosyncrasies so check my work!

In the 1960s, when scientists began studying neutrinos streaming out of the sun, they measured only about a third of the output predicted by theory. Oscillation explained why: the missing two thirds were morphing from electron neutrinos into muon and tau neutrinos as they traveled to Earth, but the instruments were set up to see only electron neutrinos. Although the discovery put to bed the so-called solar neutrino problem, it exposed another mystery: according to theory, the only way for neutrinos to switch flavors is for them to have mass—and that is something that the Standard Model did not predict.

i also encourage you to read this part
______
But the Higgs mechanism works only on particles that come in both right-handed and left-handed versions, a fundamental difference related to the orientation of their spin relative to their direction of motion. So far neutrinos have been seen only in left-handed form. If they got mass from the Higgs field, then right-handed neutrinos must also exist. But right-handed neutrinos have never been observed, which suggests that if they are real they do not interact at all with any other forces or particles in nature

Within just nine months of the start of LHC Run 3 and the beginning of its measurement campaign, the FASER collaboration changed this picture by announcing its first observation of collider neutrinos at this year’s electroweak session of the Rencontres de Moriond.

nevertheless, here is one thing i'm fascinated about string theory an no anti-multiverse rant can ruin that!

These extra dimensions, it suggests, are compacted so tightly together that we don’t notice them all. And each type of compactification could create a universe with different microphysics...

We search for this effect in two years of POLARBEAR data. We do not detect a signal, and place a median 95% upper limit of 0.65∘ on the sinusoid amplitude for oscillation frequencies between 0.02days−1 and 0.45days−1, which corresponds to axion masses between 9.6×10−22eV and 2.2×10−20eV.

what can we know more from cmb
--------
“We’re realizing that the CMB does not only tell us about the initial conditions of the universe. It also tells us about the galaxies themselves,” said Emmanuel Schaan, also a cosmologist at SLAC.

I feel most comfortable and confident to start with energy conversion law to arrive at an equation that sums up the initial torques acting on an armature of electric motor. This is just a review exercise in ece subject but I’ve tried approaching the problem from a very basic physics law I mentioned in a way to verify or to derive the torque equation in its ready form presented and discussed in my resource material that is mainly an engineering text that assumes its engineering students to have already mastered the basic background on how that torque equation came to be.

remembering our own mid 1980s, aside loving elementary children's baseball almost all of the baseball team that time loved breaking that time, sometimes our street contest could turn into kiddie fist fights but all became friends again the next morning to play "taksi" and train baseball in the afternoon

so nice to know that a Filipina-American a world-renowned breaker, among the best in the young generation to carry forward the Breaking legacy from the 1980s, she could represent the philippines in the coming Paris 2024 Summer Olympics, looking forward to it

Juggling with notations and making some sense to it. I’m just preparing a part of my draft related to my self-refresher in Lie groups, manifolds, related topics. I’d try to present my own approach as I am guided by the discussions in my resource materials. The draft will be posted in the coming weeks at my wordpress and the posting will be tooted here. You may (perhaps not) stay tuned!
