Bird app meltdown
@MWUScribe@med-mastodon.com @nick because you know who is back on twitter and the media loves that guy. Ugh.
One of my friends signed up at qoto and now wants info on how to change servers - is there a good tipsheet I can point her to? #help
@MCBazacoPhD so glad you are here. Totally done with twitter. Sigh
Bird stuff
@Ouij yup. It sucks. I see a few baseball people on here though.
@swampudlian I deleted my Twitter account a bit ago. Interesting about your mom
@higharchmage me too
Taking this opportunity to redo my formal #Introduction here: I'm Dr Neuro and I'm a medical science communicator that has been focusing on #Covid and other infectious disease & #epidemiology topics since the start of the pandemic.
I am an infectious disease
specialist at the CDC, and have worked in the #globalhealth arena for a long time focusing on clinical policy development and #equitable access for all.
You can find me here:

I guess I never did do an #introduction here.
I'm a law student.
I'm beyond age 50.
I'm a baseball nerd.
I play in a league that plays base ball as it was in the 1860's. And I umpire that, too.
I've done a countdown to pitchers & catchers reporting on social media, starting the day after the World Series, for a decade now.
I have a passion for criminal justice reform.
I'd love to work in that area, but public interest law don't pay for shit.
I'm trying to figure that shit out.
But aren't we all
So I guess I should do an #introductionpost. I am a former researcher/lab rat in immunology with experience at NIH on malaria vaccines, lab animal health testing at a former Invitrogen bought CRO, that worked with Fort Detrick on Ebola and Hantaa. Also worked on clinical trials at MedImmune/AZ on monoclonals. Retired due to disability caused by chemo brain from bone marrow disease treatment. Love Cats, baseball, all things biotech./biology. Always willing to share my experiences/answer q’s.
