I own four #Albanian dictionaries :

* Langenscheidt #German <> Albanian
* Kokona French <> Albanian
* Oxford Albanian > English
* Hippocrene English > Albanian

Sadly, neither of the last two includes the *full* declension information; To really learn a vocabulary, you need sg. ind. + sg. det. + pl. ind. But the Oxford only gives sg. ind. + det. !? The Hippocrene is meant for Albanians (?) and doesn't include declensions. #English natives, do you really care that little?!

Stück on a "Bug" in the #Albanian language: there is no concept of "too much" or "too little". Imagine trying to explain the difference between "very much" and "too much" to someone who doesn't know it, but without using the word "too".

Just spent about an hour on an #xkb config for to remap some Alt- and Meta- combos to ëË, ýÝ, and àÀ. My keyboard now combines German, French, and Albanian symbols on a US #colemak layout. I will not apologize.

The joys of learning #Albanian, where there's no good low barrier to entry material available: finished the *foreword* of the text book, and already learned three new words, none of which Albanian. Had to look them up just to understand what I'll be learning about.

After the nationalists from #VMRO -DPMNE, now their supposedly pro-EU #Albanian partners from #VLEN are stopping the inclusion of the local #Bulgarians in the country's constitution.
They live in #Macedonia for centuries' but are subject of discrimination. Their inclusion in the constitution, along with other nationalities, is a requirement of the EU for the start of membership negotiations.
