All #PlantBased except for tzatziki with the cucumber Details in alt. I know, plating is not great- hey it was #breakfast time..lol

Here's another image from my first years of photography back in 2020! Fun fact - it's also my most stolen image :/ I've found it online being sold on everything from pillows to prints to even a real estate listing once. Suppose that's the reality of posting images online to a degree...

Dear Progressive Albertans: the children of Alberta need you to become a school trustee to preclude a MAGA trustee. The MAGA-cons plan on taking over education this fall to implement more facist idiology and lies (review the previous curriculum changes the UCP-fash implemented
They will take over school boards if we don't stop them.

business.facebook.comGood bye.
Get in your car. Take all the land you brought into Canada with you when you came, and get the hell out.
Hurry now, were getting eager to see the back of you
Dont think you're coming back.
Get out.
I would die to go to The Three Sisters, in #Alberta, #Canada . The #CanadianRockies are simply stunning. I'm in love with Canada.
I had forgotten how poignant the movie Brokeback Mountain was until my professor, today, started talking about the novel by Annie Proulx and the movie directed by Ann Lee (2005). That was the year when the same-sex marriage law was passed, both in Canada and in #Spain. It allowed couples of the same sex to legally enjoy the same rights and responsibilities as heterosexual couples.
When I watched the movie back then, I was shocked. It was unthinkable to see two rough men exploring their emotional and sexual orientation in the midst of a hostile dominant homophobic culture. #LGBTQ+phobia destroys human beings, and this novel/movie sends an important message that still resonates nowadays: no one should suffer for loving someone else, no one should feel guilty for who they are. We all need to feel accepted, we all need to feel supported, and we all need to feel loved without fear.

A little #ForestFloor vignette from yesterday afternoon. There is no fresh green here, yet, though Aspen and Willow catkins are bursting out and should soon be flowering, leaves and non-woody plants will follow..

An image from 2022 of the infamous Abraham Lake in #Alberta #Canada with its frozen methane bubbles trapped just below the surface.
The bubbles from my understanding are a result of organics buried in the lake bed after it was created by the nearby manmade dam. This place has unsurprisingly become a huge photo attraction as a result.

@cbcnews @calgary-cbcnews #Alberta is really showing us who they are. They always have the best interests of people in mind, such as those maligned for their prejudice and hatred.
@cbcnews @edmonton-cbcnews #Alberta being Alberta. Always focussed on the best interests of those who need the most help. Children, for example.
