Oh well, it's one of those things again isn't it.

I recommend, at least, a suspension against (at)mynameistillian(at)plush.city for anti-
#Russian #bigotry. The more cautious (especially pro-#Ukraine and #antiwar / #nowar Russians) may want to #fediblock the entire #Mastodon instance.

Receipts:

1.
@PsyChuan@plush.city posted screenshots of #Telegram publishing a blog post with a screenshot containing a follower count that is 1,488, possibly pointing to a #nazi #dogwhistle. Considering the long history of fascists being platformed by Telegram to this day as well as the later change of the subscriber count to an oddly specific number 1,391 (coincidentally there was a Jewish pogrom that same year in the Iberian peninsula), I'm not going to question this, this seems pretty plausible that it's intentionally a nazi dogwhistle on Telegram's part.

2.
@dettlaff@mastodon.ml, probably confused (and I would be too tbh as a #Filipino living in the #Philippines, "1488" as a dogwhistle is not well-known outside the #Anglo - #American worlds however tillian wants to claim otherwise), simply asked OP where the dogwhistle is. This was before OP edited the post to make it clearer that the dogwhistle is in the subscriber count (thanks PsyChuan!). det appreciated OP's response by faving it.

3. Out of nowhere, tillian
went into the replies to accuse def of being a "white supremacist", and goes on to equate him to a "typical white russian guy" who defends the "entire set of ideals that modern russia is founded on" (i.e. #whitesupremacy in their view), despite the fact that def is against the war in Ukraine and most likely anti-#Putin (considering they want their #politicalprisoners in #Russia freed, if the anti-war position is not enough for you). Basically tillian went full aggressive against def for no damn reason, and has still not apologized as of writing.

Since this is also a response to tillian's fediblock post, I'm also putting the
#fediblockmeta tag here.

Problem is, things have only become worse for the #anglo community since he was named. Girard appears ill-prepared, or unwilling, to act effectively in contentious files like his government’s hobbling of #McGill and #Concordia universities.»

Escomb Church

The quiet village of Escomb lies at the end of a mile long cul-de-sac down a steep bank. It's a village which fortunes have ebbed and flowed.

The origin of the name derives from the Saxon name "Eda", which led to the medieval Ediscombe — the second element, "combe"'  is a sheltered dwelling place. The settlement is mentioned in the "History of St Cuthbert" of 1031, and the "Boldon Book", o ...
