I don’t blame the people who recommended it, but @DishTV is one of the worst digital products I have ever owned. Navigating it’s maze of devices, software and methods has created the most miserable UX imaginable. I will eat the $360 early termination fee. That’s how bad this product is. #Beware.

Royalties are not operating capital. Royalties should never be touched.
Every small/indie press implosion I've witnessed in the last twenty years (far too fucking many) has stemmed from publishers using royalties as operating capital, then defaulting on royalties and defrauding the authors.
Definitely not behavior to encourage.
