Yesterday I had a little panic as I thought my binary watch was broken. It is just a cheap and ugly thing but I do enjoy it nonetheless.
Anyway, for the curious I typed up some of the tricks I use to read it fast.

How cool would it be to have a #BinaryWatch!
I never explained directly here how I use the #DecimalWatch.
I am not often converting between decimal and standard time. I just look out for significant events for which I have learnt decimal equivalents, like wake up, kids to school, work start, lunch, work end, etc. It is also nice to track roughly where I am in the progress of a day. There are other time sources at home and the office when I need precision, for meetings I have a calendar. A travel app takes ppublic transport times.

The major markings are numbered 01 through 00 (which is also equivalent to 10). There are 100 smaller markings, with every fifth one more significantly highlighted.

So now I'm wearing one of my other LED watches. No it ain't pretty but still kind of fun. #WristCheck #BinaryWatch
