Well, one of the oldest #complaints about it is its #stupid binary #logging system. "Instead of paging your way through /var/log/messages, just run journalctl !" they say.

But if you run #journalctl, it'll start at the beginning of the log. For this machine, that's a few months ago. I want to get to "now", so hit `G` ... and wait for literally *minutes* for it to parse through the whole bloody thing.

I used to do #Twitter until I became wise. Now I'm just here but I miss the #social aspect it built (albeit #online) . I got to #interact with quite a lot of the same #people as well as more general things. This was in spite of having a relatively low number of #followers & #following about the same. I also found it the fastest way to raise #complaints with #stores, #banks & #businesses. I rather miss that the same things that aren't on this #platform.
