The 2025 Skunk Cabbage Run started here at Barton Hall, I saw volunteers ready to check in runners when I walked in the door. Counting runners, volunteers and spectators, about 1000 people showed up.

Here is a big hall with a triangle topped with that says CORNELL UNIVERSITY in Red Letters with banners that say AIR FORCE and ARMY on the side at the back of a huge open indoor tracks with dramatic arches, glowing lights, a row of windows stretching towards the viewer, catewalks and more signs for Cornell athletics. Looking tiny in comparsion is a reception area made of temporary tables with capacity to handle five lines of alphabetically sorted runners which are now empty while various people mill around.
