I wonder if tariffs by the US will destroy the market for fine minerals. This one is from Brazil, seen in a private showing in a Tucson Gem and Mineral show at the Westward Ho Resort venue 2018. @b4ux1t3 #Crystal is not very popular, but worth a shot. Some people could point at #Nim as well. There was a time #Kotlin could be natively statically compiled, but I don't think JetBrains maintains this.

From the museum you could try #Ada or #Fortran - modern one is supposedly very nice language (I haven't tried).

I just noticed that NATS 2.11 was released last week. The feature I've been waiting for is per-message TTLs, so I just added support for them to my Crystal NATS client.

The bigger the framework, the harder the upgrades. Back in the day, I never expected to see talks about just upgrading or maintaining projects (ActiveRecord encryption + ActiveStorage).

Today, upgrading my simple Rails API to Rails 8 was a pain. So I set a goal — before Rails 9, I’m switching to minimalistic #Crystal and its Web frameworks. No more #Rails .
It was a good ride for almost 20 years.
