Really pleased that Katlie Ellis, Mike Kent & my #DP24 project "Diversifying audio description in the Australian digital landscape" was funded by the Australian Research Council in the round announced today. It's an important project and we're chuffed to have the funding to undertake it!

OMG we've actually been told, ahead of time, that #DiscoveryProjects #DP24 will be announced TODAY.

Thanks, ARC. A few day's notice would be grand, but it's a start.

'Tis the season: When will #DiscoveryProjects #DP24 outcomes be announced?

ARC's "goal" is 15–28 Nov. But other recent schemes were announced 1–4 weeks early.

DP is the biggest scheme though – more glitches & edge-cases to sort out.

ARC has announced National Interest Test statements will now be considered by assessors (not ARC CEO) as part of the normal peer review process.

No more NIT-picking…for schemes starting tomorrow (1 Dec), incl. #DiscoveryProjects #DP24
