I curate my own digital audio library and it is absolutely insane the magnitude of amazing music pieces which are missing in a decent playback format* (or even in a crappy resolution) on these so-called 'unlimited' digital audio & streaming platform.

And no, I'm not snobbing anyone, I'm musical host (DJ/selector) and so I often make mash-ups, work on remixes and at times create my own experimental electronic music.

Enshittification of digital music distribution is real and maybe permanent; all down to the wastebin of history if you don't own the original masters or the past vinyl records or CDs releases.

So I got to learn C++, MIDI, and more at the company that made this beast. It had a lot of cool features but, like the NED devices, it cost quite a bit in a time when sound cards in cheap PCs were taking over music creation. Traveled to a bunch of industry shows and companies to setup and demo the device, including a whirlwind trip to Japan which was quite a thing.

First job in New Hampshire. Air Force buddy got promoted to their LA office leaving an electronics tech position open. “It’s a great company, famous musicians visit all of the time, cool tech.” While I didn't see Sting, Stevie Wonder, Laurie Anderson, or Frank Zappa wandering the halls I eventually got to spend a little time on a jazz tour with my future wife setting up Pat Metheny’s Synclavier. I was on vacation when they went out of business and came back to a new job at a new company formed with the engineers they'd hired. My first programming job. ":^)

Somewhere in our garage there’s a HOP box, used to read/write memory and step through programs on the ABLE computer.

My turntable is a Sony PS-LX310BT Belt Drive Turntable. It has settings for 7" and 12" records only. Does anyone know a way to play/burn 10" records?

I tried setting the needle down by hand but the fully-automatic features prevented it. I'm hoping there is a trick to get around full automation.

This is all very new to me and it is entirely possible I simply went about it wrong.
