At #EGU23 this year we were joined by two excellent Artists in Residence; Heike Jane Zimmermann and Maria Gabriela Tejada Toapanta! During the meeting EGU Communications Assistant Fabio Crameri spoke to Gabriela about her experiences, and getting to work with Jane and the scientists at the meeting!

By the way, I’ve just returned by train on Friday night from the annual European Geosciences Union conference #EGU23 in Vienna, with 13,000 participants. As always in the big climate science events, a large and exciting part of the presentations & discussions was on paleoclimate.
Ok, this is it: #egu23 is over already! Pfiu, this went by rapidly and was, once again, intense!
My main takeaway from discussions is that quite a lot of #postdocs now work in one place but live in another. #WorkFromHome seems to be more broadly accepted than in pre-Covid times. Keep that in mind when negotiating your next postdoc position

We had a solicited talk, Lee-Lueng Fu presented the first steps of the DWOT satellite. Really impressive images! Looking forward to the data release!
