www.youtube.comESWIN EBC77 is a RISC-V single-board computer with Ubuntu 24.04 support
The ESWIN EBC77 is a credit card-sized single-board computer that looks like a Raspberry Pi. But instead of an ARM-based processor, this little PC has a 1.8 GHz ESWIN EIC7700X quad-core chip based on RISC-V architecture.
Available from Amazon for $149, the EBC77 also features an NPU that delivers up to 20 TOPS of AI performance, a PCIe 3.0 x4 FPC connector, and an unspecified amount of […]

Inside SiFive’s P550 Microarchitecture https://old.chipsandcheese.com/2025/01/26/inside-sifives-p550-microarchitecture/
"The P550 is a 3-wide out-of-order core with a 13 stage pipeline. Out-of-order execution lets the core move past a stalled instruction to extract instruction level parallelism. It’s critical for achieving high performance because cache and memory latency can be significant limiters for modern CPUs."

I just received a EIC7700x Devboard from eswin.
I am suitably impressed. Clocks at 1.4Ghz, but it wipes the floor with the SpaceMit SOC’s. (And according to docs, it can clock up to 1.8Ghz, so it still has a lot of room to grow)
DDR5 at 6400M/T certainly helps, but it’s even doing very well on Cypto/openSSL benchmarks and 7zip (thanks to SBC-benchmark script)
