Seit Mittwoch braucht man eine #ETA, wenn man nach #England reisen will.

„Elektronische Einreisegenehmigung“ heißt das auf Deutsch, und man kennt das von den #USA. Für mich begeben sich die Briten damit in ein ganz ungemütliches Licht, ist doch Einreise in die USA gerade eher mit der Vorstellung von Knast ohne Anwalt auf unbestimmte Zeit verknüpft.

Beantworten muss man beim Beantragen der Genehmigung unter anderem, ob man einen Job hat und ob man schon mal verdächtigt wurde, Terrorist zu sein.

Also wäre ich Terrorist, ich würde das angeben, weil wer nicht ehrlich ist, den lassen sie ja keinen Urlaub mehr in #Schottland machen?

Der bevorzugte Weg ist es, zur Beantragung eine App zu verwenden. Es geht auch im Browser, doch wenn ich es versuche, werde ich zur App genötigt… es geht, aber man will es nicht.

Gut, dass wir letztes Jahr noch in England und Schottland waren, die haben es auf ihren Inseln noch nicht gelernt, das mit #Europa und so.
