@jon it's been a fantastic insight as to what the railway is like, and this section particularly so.

Selfishly my European work tends to involve travel or discussions dominated by the northern and western railway planning and operations, it has been amazing to see what else is going on.

I really appreciate the effort you have put into this and hope you can keep going, and think this is important work.

And because both the attendant and the catering manager for the entire SJ Euronight service are Brits, there's a proper cup of tea as well.
Staying put on the Sleeper feels more like a win now.

I just overlooked a golden rule of #EuropeanRail travel, and will now spend all day regretting it.
If you see your train, and you can get on it, do so.
In expectation of a more convenient connection later, and a free breakfast, I stayed on the Sleeper at Malmö when my onward fast train was also sat at the station.
Now the latter has departed and I (and the Sleeper) have not. Just lost 2 hours. And no sign of breakfast.
