almost forgot: 8BitDo Ultimate 2 passed the Kugane Tower test just fine. I praised the d-pad a lot previously, but the thumbsticks feel excellent, too

PS I've had this minion on this character for ages, so I probably acquired it from the Market Board.

But this is the Tora-jiro minion which is in the list of rewards for next week's Moogle Event. It has really cute animations so is totally worth getting, if you haven't already. And it's only 7 Mogtomes.

As I'm in #SurvivalMode and I've struggled to settle to anything, I'm going to play my "second main" in #FFXIV, so I can allow the story to take me along.

Anything like repetition, grinding or intense concentration is too much at the moment.

I've played a lot of mindless mobile games with this illness, which meant at least I could distract myself a bit. But my head is okay-ish with large screens, so I'm going to immerse myself for tonight.

I'm playing my main alt in #FFXIV as I wanted some story. This is the first time I've seen Yugiri since the avatar update and #FF14 have done a lovely job here.

And I do not remember those eyes before. A fab touch.

I just wish games would have/take the time to update old textures. Her shawl looks blurry in comparison now.

Does anyone happen to know the drop rate for the Demiatma for the DawnTrail weapon relics?

I've done about ~15 FATES in one area and gotten one of the pieces I need from it so far. I know the equivalent in ARR wasn't a great drop rate, but I thought it was > 1 in 10?

When I first saw the Branchbearers in #FFXIV I though they were a beautiful creation, someone or some people had a fab imagination to come up with these seedkin.

I'm also glad I can work towards one as a mount. Nature is kinda Ali's thing, really. She fights, yeah, but hates taking life. She barges face-first into battle, but creating things is a greater fulfilment.

I just had a short, albeit VERY late, #FFXIV session. Just catching up with Ali and the various post-DawnTrail projects I have going on with her.

I've done my usual short-attention-span issue and started several things when I should have done one then moved onto another.

But in a week or two of illness and activity, sometimes just being "with" Ali is calming (when all my RL humans are asleep that's okay I think).

I had a dual #MiqoteTime in #FFXIV. Some Heavensward progress with one, and remembering I still had Allied Society quests to do on my main character.

By that I mean, I unlocked the Mamool Ja one today.

But nothing too taxing. Time for more meds and back to sleep for me.

I still follow @ff_xiv_en which is a bridged version of their xTwit account. But it's not in real time. It gets updated more, depending on followers/demand I think.

Thanks to seeing a random #FFXIV player, I re-checked my mounts and did, in fact, have Torgal on this character. His "mount effect" is you get to stroke him and he's sooo happy.

I wish more mount effects were interactions between rider and creature.

With Ali being post-DawnTrail and with my current pain/energy levels, I have to be in the mood for repetitive tasks or anything that looks grindy, I'm spending a bit longer with my second Miqo'te in HeavensWard.

Sometimes I just need some story and side-quests. Thankfully the Moogles here excel at giving you classic have-sword-will-work, mundane tasks.

Given what she went through at Ul'dah recently, it suits her fine.

And me, to be honest.
