GBA audio and 3DS graphics are kinda similar where while both can achieve amazing results, the average output in games is often just meh.

And the Fire Emblem games were really good at utilizing both well.

This week I finished Summon Night: Swordcraft Story. It's a very solid small #JRPG for the #GBA. The combat is very fun, and the story is serviceable. It also has a short extra dungeon after the main story; no story in it, but it's a fun extra hour or two.

First played this some 20 years ago, but I'm glad I played it again; this time to the end. I'll probably play the sequels in the future. I might also give a chance to the main series.

after playing #castlevania aria of sorrow, though, I'm leaning more toward that end of the metroidvania spectrum. perhaps I still have a streak of the teenage goth I once was inside me.

Everything about the game is solid. It's a #Metroidvania (ish) exploration game and it is awesome.

#fifa 07 for the #gba is quite fun. slower than #sensi and has a bunch of world teams. feels like a fun mix of the arcade style #football games and the more simulator type.
