Ok, I was investigating collisions in #godot and what I want to do is possible, but it's bad news, because now I have to actually do it 😅. I'm going to use a dynamic/changing collision shape. I'll show the final result

@webfussel Great! I tried implementing such functionalities and found out later that #godot already has it out of the box so I guess the lesson was that when you need something that's common in games it pays to dig around.

So after my wife yesterday stated - completely correct - that I will never get into #GameDev if I do not invest the time, I decided to get back to spending 1 hour / day to learn with #Godot.

Futzing with playing cards as I am learning and teaching #godot at the same time. Today in an hour we sketched out some cards in Inkscape and just barely got one to show up on screen. Doing some work on my own just now, managed to concoct a card class that lets you pick which card it is in the editor
