@tristanlandry Looks great, thanks for sharing! #liiive also let's you download the data. (It's the little "export" button in the top-left menu.) Also, permanent collaboration rooms publish their own manifests. It's not documented yet. But you can drop the URL liiive.now/{room}/manifest into any #IIIF viewer and view the original manifests + annotations, if the room is set to permanent storage.

Fixed a bug today that makes liiive.now more robust on unstable connections. For those of you annotating on your commute, in the corner café, or through your neighbour’s patchy WiFi (or eduroam even!) #IIIF #ImageAnnotation #DigitalHumanities

Starting to work pretty well! #IMMARKUS #IIIF #OpenSeadragon

And another one! ✂️ A smart selection tool powered by the "Intelligent Scissors" algorithm from OpenCV.js. This should make complex polygon annotation a breeze! Coming to #IMMARKUS (very) soon. #ImageAnnotation #IIIF

And another one! 🧩 The #Annotorious Boolean Operations plugin now has a shiny new README. Adds shape merge and subtract functionality for #OpenSeadragon–perfect for annotatinng complex shapes! github.com/annotorious/plugin- #Annotation #IIIF

We're delighted to announce that the National Library of Finland has joined the Consortium. The Library has recently begun a 2-year project to implement #IIIF across several of the Library’s systems.

@aboutgeo do you know somewhat recent #iiif image api v3 benchmarks for different servers or libraries? Do you have a favourite?

Okay, back to square one. Maybe someone from the #IIIF community has some advice? I’m trying to display a series of IIIF images in a seamless sequence. From what I understood, adding `"behaviour": ["continuous"]` to the manifest should do the trick. But now I need to find a IIIF viewer that supports this (or change my approach).

There are still a few spots left for next week's IIIF Online Training!

No prior knowledge of #IIIF is required. By the end, participants will have completed a small IIIF project, which they will demo for the group at the final meeting.

🚀 Beta feature alert! By popular demand: liiive.now now displays annotations embedded in #IIIF Presentation Manifests! 🎉

Some limitations apply (e.g. only embedded annotation lists, not hyperlinked ones), and it's really only tested on the #IIIF cookbook examples so far. Looking forward to hearing your feedback–and bug reports 😉

@workergnome thanks! Over on the #IIIF Slack channel I also just got pointed to some Leventhal digital exhibitions built with Quire–and I'm amazed how beautiful everything looks on mobile. Really want to use it for client work when I get the chance.

Reposting an excellent link I got over at the #IIIF Slack: Quire, a digital edition static site builder based on 11ty: quire.getty.edu/ Wondering if anyone here has used it and can share their experience?

The votes from my recent poll are in–next feature for #liiive will be import (and editing) of annotations included in the #IIIF manifest! (Meanwhile, readers of the IIIF Cookbook may find the attached screenshot familiar.)
