Now I can tell you what ruined my Christmas day last year. If you’re running LearnDash LMS, make sure you’ve updated to version 4.10.3.

Nice!
Point me in the right direction?
This error tells me something (%n) isn't right in a translation file. (should maybe be %s)
Error appears when using a feature in the #LearnDash #Thrivecart Integration plugin.
Only when the website is set to German. Only in PHP 8.x (not 7.4)
Funny: I don't find a translation file for that plugin (seems to only be in EN).
I have looked into .po files (DE one for LearnDash, EN one for LD Thrivecart) and searched for %n to no avail.

Allow me to share this perspective as a Panamanian who was raised in the Canal Zone and then came to the United States when he was 10 years old to attend private, Catholic schools until high school graduation. It was a sheltered upbringing, by design of course by loving parents. Still, I want to be clear about something often taken for granted.
I cannot support hatred of individuals. I do not accept skin color or LGBTQ+ as a reason for poor treatment of other people. This has never been more needed, especially in education and online spaces like this one, given the level of hate and bias.
Being who you are should not result in blind bias or hatred. I reject that and the frames that people have adopted that result in such hate.
As a Latinx who grew up in the Republic of Panama and then Texas, I have my own perspective.
My own identity as a cisgender (he/him/his), a bilingual/bicultural speaker, a person caught between two cultures, I have not suffered the slings and arrows of bias, prejudice that I can only ally with, including #Black #LGBTQ+ #IndigenousPeoples.
Since I speak and write in Standard English, I enjoy a level of white privilege due to my skin color (from my Swedish father) and my last name (“Guhlin” is Swedish, not Latino), I know that my life experience does not give me the authority to speak in more certain terms.
So, I offer my perspective in this space in a tentative way, and hope that I can learn with and from others.

@mackiwg @aus_teach @stevefoerster Wayne, sounds great. And it makes sense for you at OERu. WPMU was one of the reasons why we went with #LearnDash but who knows what else we might have done without that requirement. Since we sell courses, we needed the LMS. Otherwise we could have used anything. #ntt
Anyone else out there using #Wordpress (yes, I know you are but wait for it) #LearnDash product?
Working for #TCEA nonprofit education, I was looking at how to put courses online, and ran across #LearnDash as a Wordpress-based Learning Management System (LMS).
I wrote about LMS switching and choices available some time ago. https://www.mguhlin.org/search/label/LMS
Now, I'm happy to point to my "finished" product and be grateful. https://courses.tcea.org
I was thinking, wow, this would be a great way for schools to get into this, albeit with a few caveats I'm going to explore in an upcoming blog entry. For now, I'm just hopeful to find others using LearnDash and have someone to knock questions around with. Since it may come up, "Do you recommend using LearnDash as a Wordpress-based LMS in lieu of more expensive LMSs?" My response is, "Yes."

www.mguhlin.orgWell, it's been a multi-month journey, but I'm happy to say, "Wow, got about 54+ courses moved into a new #Wordpress -based LMS" from our current solution. I am looking forward to seeing how it all works to the benefit of folks. Anyone else using Wordpress-based LMSs? I wrote a blog entry about them awhile back when I just starting down this road... https://www.mguhlin.org/2022/05/choosing-learning-mgmt-system.html #LearnDash #WPCourseware #Education
