OK, aber es hat dann (rechtlich) doch funktioniert, oder?

Libre soll soll eindeutig "frei" bedeuten.
Du kannst niemanden befreien, der gar nicht frei sein möchte.

Du suchst aber auch irgendwie den Don Quixote-Weg, oder?
In Behörden ist seit jeher der einfachste Weg, einen Verwaltungsakt verfahrensrechtlich tot zu machen. Er ist am wenigsten arbeitsintensiv, effizient & effektiv.

Odd, #LibreOffice does not like having different scaling factors on two monitors.

I've got 1.8x scaling on my left (laptop) monitor and 1.0x on my right (HDMI). It looks like they're both getting 1.8x scaling, so everything is huge on my main (right) monitor.

I had to add QT_QPA_PLATFORM=xcb to the environment variables using the #KDE #Plasma menu editor to force it to run in X11 mode (XWayland), and now it's fine.

Enjoying #Nobara #Linux so far, except for the very specific problem where #Fedora / #Wayland doesn't play nice with #LibreOffice.

Which is a huge pain in the bum when I need to take screenshots, and a feels like very specifically a me problem.

`Convert-to` command line parameter

The format for “convert-to” parameter is:

--convert-to output_file_extension[:output_filter_name] [--outdir output_dir]

What are the valid output_file_extension values? What are the valid output_filter_name values?

For the documentation, the soffice --help showed the --convert-to
parameter. The help->LibreOffice Help does not show this parameter.

This is the general format of convert-to (noting that on windows the parameter is -convert-to not --convert-to):

soffice --headless --convert-to <TargetFileExtension>:<NameOfFilter> file_to_convert.xxx

Use the link above (http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/tree/filter/source/config/fragments/filters) to look for the filter names in the .xcu files.

Frage: Libreoffice Writer Dokument als durchgehendes PDF Dokument exportieren?

Wie kann man in LibreOffice Writer ein Dokument so als PDF so exportieren, dass das fertige PDF keine einzelnen Seiten hat, sondern ein durchgehendes Dokument ist? Also ähnlich wie die Webansicht im Writer.

Note, that #Debian has suite called #backports. This contains various new package versions for the stable release.

E.g. #libreoffice 25.2.2, which happens to be the latest version!

The addition of dark mode in #LibreOffice 25.2 earlier this year took me by surprise at the time, but today I opened a Google Sheets document and... I'm honestly appalled that it still doesn't have a dark mode!
Good job setting a higher bar of user expectations to the @libreoffice team, and long live #opensource going where even large companies are too afraid to!

I recently made a #Libreoffice theme I only tested on #Linux with #KDEPlasma.

There was a #Windows7 user complaining that it was broken

Anyone with #LibreOffice experience that knows how to style images using the context "styles" pallet? I have good success with the text styles, but applying a style to multiple graphics causes them to ignore the aspect ratio. Even with that setting selected. I suspect the context style has a fixed size for height and width regardless of the size of the image it's being applied to.

Also, can I be sure each image has it's local properties cleared?
