#MastodonIntroduction Hey all, so I thought today I would also crest a personal account here on #Mastodon, most of you will know me as the founder of the award-winning website #BlazingMinds which I have also got an account for at @BlazingMinds

I thought it would be best to have separate accounts. Happy tooting folks.

Hi, I'm new here so thought I'd introduce myself.

My name is Isaac, born in Alice Springs, Northern Territory and now live in the Barossa Valley, South Australia, via numerous other parts of Australia.

I'm an ex chef who now works as a Cellar Hand making wine for one of the many Barossa wineries.

I follow the AFL (Richmond Tigers), the NBL (Adelaide 36ers) and the NBA (Chicago Bulls and all the Aussies playing over there).

I watch way too much Netflix and enjoy reading Non fiction books of a wide variety. Have quite an interest in technology and the security aspect of it especially. Bit of a car and motorbike enthusiast, who has been known to make a habit of buying and selling cars of interest on a regular basis.

Looking forward to finding plenty of interesting people and accounts to follow.

Here's my #Mastodonintroduction. I'm Alex Peace, originally from #Cumbria now living in #Hamilton #Ontario working as an Assistant Professor at #McMasterUniversity.

I am a structural #geologist leading the McMaster #StructuralGeology and #Tectonics Group researching deformation processes and associated #hazards as well as #resources.

Closely coupled with that is helping fellow educators benefit from using #Markdown and related publishing workflows (which can also enhance an #LMS).
