Understanding the health impacts of the climate crisis
and imagining a positive future

"Climate change is the greatest threat to human health now."

"Climate change is already causing significant shifts in weather patterns and an increase in extreme weather events around the world, including droughts, heatwaves, wildfires, storms and floods."

"The major cause of pollution is the burning of fossil fuels, further motivating action on reducing GHG; adverse weather events, such as heatwaves, can acutely amplify pollution impacts."

“You’re not a quitter.”

That phrase is often said like it’s a badge of honor — but what if quitting the right things is actually a radical act of self-respect? Pull up a seat, bring your favorite drink, and hang with us every Tuesday evening at 6pCT:

You haven't become fear.

You are experiencing the emotion of fear - a completely natural and normal response to uncertainty.

Notice it. Examine it. Make room for it. Watch it as it moves around your body. Notice it's shape. Breathe into it and around it.

Say it out loud with me:
"I notice I am experiencing the emotion of fear. I am NOT fear."

Your willingness to make room for your emotions allows them to pass through you.

You can't seek or tell anyone you have mental health treatment or you will lose your pilots license. So many pilots have secret serious untreated mental health issues that dare not speak of or get help for.

Medical imaging experts are adept at solving common optical illusions, according to new research. The research is the first to show that people can be trained to do better at solving visual illusions, which was previously thought to be near-impossible. The study shows that medical imaging experts are particularly accurate at judging the size of objects in common optical illusions. In other words, they also literally see better in everyday life!
