My budget electronics lab I’ve been putting together for the past year. The oscilloscope is a Hantek DSO2D10 which I’ve found to be good value with SCPI support.The big multimeter is a DATRON 1061 a metrology grade 5.5 digit multimeter. The multimeter on top is a 6.5 digit Solartron 7151 which I developed some #opensource software for. Thinking of replacing them both with something like a HP34401A. It’s amazing what you can find on eBay for not much money. #electronics #metrology #homelab

Do any of you have a SMU that can reach 1kV level? I’d like to do a simple (remote) experiment but my SMUs only reach 210V. Keithley 2410, 2470 or 2657 models would be ideal.

We are investigating switching losses of power transistors and we need to measure the output capacitance in a particular way.

Did I show this? Came across it when I was searching for my crimping tools.
It's an old BBC Goerz RCD tester.
Not much use these days, but it comes with a neat set of test wires.
Those were the reason to haggle a bit and buy it.
Going to clean it up and park it in the collection. The wires will go with my installation tester or maybe my Metratester 4.

FWIW about 1453 million million million million million million million million million, for which I don't think SI yet has a prefix.
Anyway, yes, the 'argument' over the two different measurements of the Hubble 'Constant' (LOL) has been running for years and definitely means that we don't know something. That's how science works. There's stuff we don't know and we try to find it out.
