Looks like a beautiful day right now.
Joanne and I visited our favorite road cafe yesterday—cheeseburgers all around—and I got the shot of the garden patio. Today would be a great day to eat on that patio as it’s wonderfully sunny.
Early morning dog walk. Quite a difference between the speed of friend's 4yr old and our last dog at 16.

From a morning walk to the train.
I hope you have a good start into the day.
Looking forward, our grandkids, all grown up, might remember when the state of California was sued over its restrictive air quality regulations. I wonder how that will turn out for them?
That one photo brings to mind that the day is pregnant with possibilities. But I must make it so.

Snapshots of my overcast morning. Overcast is not a word to be taken lightly. Oh, you disagree? Well, ok then.
I walk a middle path between extremes, staying grounded in the present moment rather than becoming lost in future fears or past grievances. Above all, I extend loving-kindness to everyone affected by these changes—including myself.
My Zen practice isn’t an escape from difficult realities but a way to engage with them with wisdom, compassion, and purpose.
