The meeting came after a recent string of social media attacks by Loomer on #Trump administration officials, including Alex Wong, the dpty #NationalSecurity adviser. Wong’s boss, #MikeWaltz, has been under fire…for more than a week after…[his #Signal Houthi PC group chat was exposed].

…But Loomer…questioned Wong’s loyalty to the admin because his wife worked as a #DOJ lawyer during the #Biden & #Obama admins, & because her father had been a large shareholder in a Chinese satellite maker.

Loomer walked into the WH with a sheaf of papers, which amounted to a mass of opposition research attacking the character & loyalty of numerous #NSC ofcls. She proceeded to excoriate them in front of their boss, the #NationalSecurity adviser #MikeWaltz, who was also in the meeting.

Loomer’s rhetoric & actions have been so #extreme that she has alienated others even on the #FarRight. She has shared a #ConspiracyTheory on social media calling the Sept 11th 2001, terrorist attacks an “inside job.”

The fact that she was even there or that he takes her advice is embarrassing. She also misses the point entirely.

#LauraLoomer, the #FarRight activist & promoter of #ConspiracyTheories, met on Wed w/ #Trump in the Oval Office, where she pressed for him to fire #NationalSecurity Council staff members whom she deemed “disloyal” to him, acc/to 7 people….

Trump may act on some of Loomer’s recommendations, two of the people said.

・Israeli surveillance was exposed—jeopardizing a key intelligence partnership
・Sensitive coordination went through Signal, not JWICS
・Waltz, who attacked Hillary Clinton for email practices, is now guilty of worse

This is not a technical mistake. It’s a policy failure, a hypocritical breach, and a serious threat to U.S. operational integrity.

If you lead in national security, you do not get to bypass your own secure systems. And you certainly don’t blame “legacy contacts” when you get caught.
