If you're new here, use an Android phone, and also a #TwitterRefugee, try using the 'Tusky for Mastodon' app. It has a Twitter like feel to the feed and probably will help you navigate this new place better.

But the trick is always to not take it seriously and approach the whole think like a curious 5 year old.
Don't stress too much about fediverse, instances and other terms which are new.
Eventually, you'll figure it out. Just continue exploring and talking to interesting people you like.

How do I find more topics and people to follow, beyond the few I clicked when I signed up? Search doesn’t seem to work much. Or is that bc im offline?
