Apparently, #PowerAutomate (rebranded Power Flow from #Microsoft) would enable one to combine Forms & Word Templates to autopopulate a word document.

Could this be a solution to stop me having to manually create word documents for a certain business process! Or better yet provide a shim to generate multiple documents from the same form!?

I know we can write our own web services on our own web stacks, but potentially this would be quicker and easier!

The new Ideas sites for #PowerApps & #PowerAutomate were launched 2 year ago, with old content migrated. Guess how many NEW ideas MS has since then updated to "under review", "planned", "delivered", "declined"?

I'm sure it could be tidier but it's doing what I need it to do.

J/K. If I try to edit my flow, it gives me an error on an upstream condition saying my input parameters contain invalid characters. Never mind that it worked before and nothing has changed. So, we'll leave it as is for now

JFC I like the automation but GD #PowerAutomate is a huge pain in my ass.

Thanks to @QuantumDot2 I fixed my #PowerAutomate #flow today so it will:
* trigger on weekdays except holidays,
* decide on a number of iterations based on a random number distribution,
* wait 120-240 min before executing every iteration,
* copy 1st file to #SharePoint & move original to a backup #OneDrive folder.

Another #automation will notify my colleagues a new file is ready.
