In the next printing of Sapiens its author may want to reconsider the claim that #relativity isn't a #religion. There are many #science #gods that #physics venerates as #animist #supernatural phenomena: #darkmatter, #darkenergy, #antimatter, #muon and #higgsboson #particles; a #blackhole, the #bigbang, #multiverse and #quantumphysics* are all effectively a #belief #system.

As someone once replied to me, dismissively: "I only believe in the Standard Model"
