How do you do <some thing> in Quarto?
This app lets you ask natural language questions about Quarto tips I've rounded up over the years. Note it's not the complete Quarto docs! Just things I've thought were interesting or cool or I've looked up repeatedly 😀

@Posit is working on “a complete rewrite” of the {plumber} #RStats 📦 “to take everything we’ve learned from plumber, shed the bad decision that you inevitably make over the course of development, and start from scratch.”
They're looking for feedback during development:

Introducing chores, a package that uses LLMs to help with repetitive, hard-to-automate coding tasks!

Manage prompts as markdown, select a chore, and let LLMs handle your tedious #RStats work.

@simonpcouch introduces chores and shows how it cuts roxygen2 boilerplate: posit.co/blog/introducing-chor

📝 [Blog post] Supporting rOpenSci Mentors with Practical Tools by @yabellini

Mentoring is at the heart of what makes rOpenSci a community. We have developed a set of resources to support mentors in the Champions Program. In this post, we’ll walk you through what we’ve created and show how these resources can support your mentoring as well.

This week I've been testing Positron, the new general purpose but data science-oriented integrated development environment (IDE) from Posit, formerly RStudio. Now in Beta, huge progress over the last few months, ready to go as a multi-language daily driver, I would endorse this for people starting out as it has more 'batteries included' than VS Code, and more features (and extensions) than RStudio (which is still recommended for stability for many #rstats users): positron.posit.co/download.htm 🚀

🔍 Working in a regulated environment?

Demonstrating that your go-to #rstats packages are fit for purpose can be challenging, especially when transparency and auditability are key.

That’s where the Litmus Dashboard comes in. Designed to support validation workflows, Litmus makes it easy to monitor and document package status in one place.
✅ Clear.
✅ Lightweight.
✅ Built with compliance in mind.
