I know both #DockerDesktop (https://docs.docker.com/desktop/settings/mac/#:~:text=Use%20Virtualization%20framework) and #RancherDesktop (https://docs.rancherdesktop.io/1.10/ui/preferences/virtual-machine/emulation/#vz) support this.
Not sure how it's done with #PodmanDesktop, but it probably involves the built-in extension that calls #Lima, the latter of which is also used by the #Colima command line tool: https://github.com/abiosoft/colima#customization-examples
