Trump signed an executive order that tries to write trans people out of existence today.
It's mostly symbolic.
It's still gonna make for a LOT of pain for the trans community--just probably not where you think it will.
It's gonna be real bad for grant funding, which means medical research.

C'est vraiment chouette de vous voir arriver en masse des réseaux asociaux aliénants, j'espère que vous commencez à trouver vos marques ici. Quelques petits conseils pour se retrouver au mieux ici.
Le contenu des timelines n'étant pas sélectionné par un algorithme, il y a quelques bonnes pratiques à garder en tête :
- utilisez les hashtags ! Ils permettent de s'abonner à des sujets qui nous intéressent et de filtrer ceux qu'on ne veut pas voir. Quand c'est plusieurs mots, il faut les mettre tout attachés avec une majuscule au début de chaque mot pour que les lecteurs d'écrans puissent les lire correctement aux personnes aveugles. Exemple : #helloQuitteX
- faites un post de présentation avec #introduction, voir #introductionFR pour les versions francophones. Là aussi, ajoutez des hashtags concernant vos pratiques, vos zones géographiques, etc. Par exemple, dans mon cas #podcast #radio #danse #performingArts #Strasbourg #Bruxelles
- n'oubliez pas de décrire le contenu de vos images aux personnes aveugles dans le ALT-text. Les personnes handi et alliées ont beaucoup œuvré pour faire que ce réseau soit le plus accessible possible. Cette pratique est importante pour en prendre soin

- n'oubliez pas les content warnings : que ce soit pour aborder un sujet difficile ou non, cette fonctionnalité (activable pour chaque post via le bouton-picto "attention") est vraiment pratique pour éviter d'imposer la lecture d'un post aux personnes qui ne veulent pas en savoir plus.
Aussi, vous êtes nombreuxses à avoir choisi de rejoindre le serveur "par défaut" de mastodon, mastodon.social. C'est tout à fait ok et Mastodon, mais plus généralement læ fédiverse, c'est comme les mails : on peut communiquer entre les différents serveurs. Or, plus on pourra éviter la centralisation sur un seul gros serveur, plus on pourra éviter de futures dérives. Donc, comme il est très facile de migrer de l'un à l'autre (c'est même une fonction de base aujourd'hui), n'hésitez pas à rejoindre des serveurs plus spécialisés, car ça permet de plus facilement trouver des personnes qui partagent nos pratiques ou nos intérêts.
